Vadim Petukhov is a legend, the great-experienced musician. The main moment in his live was when a leader of a brass-orchestra came to school and gathered a band of young drummers from third year students. It was a true cross for Vadim to bear – composed of two drumsticks. Later came active participation in lots of school bands while listening to masterpieces of classic rock and jazz. Then the usual next stop – higher education – university was nursery for underground culture at the time. There in 1980 Vadim joined a then well-known band "Patriarkhalnaya Vystavka" with which has been playing for ten years. With his own eyes Vadim saw underground and illegal concerts, a genesis of Leningrad Rock-club, of which he became an active member. He saw Perestroyka, then came out from underground. Then there were years of successful concert-tours at late 1980s, a collapse of Soviet economy in the beginning of 1990s. Vadim is universal by his musical tastes: he is an enthusiast in heavy-metal as well as jazz and blues, also in poetic songs. Since 1993 till now he is a member of well-known band "Tambourine". As many other professional musicians Vadim plays in many jazz bands and rock groups while working in many different styles.
"Grebennikjov' Cool-blues Quintet", "Lady Soul" of Tatyana Gromova, the band "Nate" of Slava Zaderiy, "Underground Sunburn", "The Shatters" and also the band of military song "Nevskiy Portal" – it is left to be happy for Vadim that all of this is peaceful in one space. However Vadim is mostly optimistic in respect to "Minnus Trelligh". So he says while having a glass of a good old whisky looking in a fatherly manner on other musicians of the project.
