Vlad Kurmaev was born in Saint Petersburg and never left the city for more than one month. At the age of three he performed as a DJ shamelessly scratching vinyl discs of The Beatles. His parents decided that such a spoiling is not good and bought Vlad his first Weltmeister accordion, which is stored in Vlad's collection till the present day.

The teenage period of his biography was marked by the struggle of a wish to play non-banal accordion and guitar, which was a fine too to sing romantic songs to sweethearts. It is not known which prevailed: mind or sense, but just that time Vlad gave up school bands, and went with his Weltmeister ready went to the Musorgsky musical college. Several years later with several non-finished musical educations behind him Vlad began to do his career in real earnest. Rehearsals, gigs, studios… He wanted his music to be heard, whether it was through speakers or at live concerts. A completely new life that could not impress. Since year of 2003 he plays in eccentrical band "Stanock", also known as a member of "Neofolk", by the collaboration with "Polusa" band and recordings with "The Hoox". Once at November evening in 2006 on the kitchen of George Mazhuga with an extra portion of "White Horse" whisky he took an offer to take part in a new project. Since that time Vlad is a member of "Minnus Trelligh".

Vlad collects a musical instruments and discs (all of this hardly can find a place in his apartment). He likes "Livin' Blues" and other good music, drinks almost everything that could be burnt but tries to be selective. Eats everything except buckwheat.
